1 Challenge 4 - Recycle & use your scraps on Sun Aug 30, 2009 4:15 pm

Another challenge for you, I love to recycle cardboard materials and use my scraps up first before I cut up another patterned paper Smile
For this layout I used a scrap corrugated cardboard that was already ripped, I peeled a little more off to reveal the centre and then I painted pink across the middle.
I made dotty square boxes using my white pen.

The centre of the layout is the title and your theme, mine being 'Love That' so in all of the boxes I've popped something in there that I love Smile using scraps or odd embellishments

Share your creations, I'd love to see what you recycle Smile

Gorgeous work Deanne, I love the use of the cardboard. My attempt uses entirely scraps apart from the photos, flowers and background. The little gold heart was made from cardboard and covered with gilt paint.
(I hope I get the photo uploading working this time LOL!)

P.S. three attempts but I think I got there (I hope!)

that is beautiful caro Smile thank you for joining in, isnt recycling fun Smile
**ps I took the photo resized it to 400 for you as it was the cutting the edge of your layout off - hope thats okay**
When you upload your photo, resize to 400 in photobucket (for example) get the 'direct link' link then click on the add image link in the thread here and a small link box appears then add your photobucket link in there and it should work like that Smile xx

Love both of these............... I like to recycle when I can. I have some 'old' recycles but won't put them on as they are years old and I put them on PCJ's. although having said that.... the last card I entered for Challenge 10 was a recycled lai flower. When we went to Disney in Orlando we made the lei's whilst waiting to be booked into our hotel. I unthreaded and used one for the card. So that qualifies LOL
