I've decided that it's about time I hosted my first ATC swap and hope as many as poss will join in with me.

I have thought long and hard about the theme and discarded my favourites 'pink' and 'flowers' as too frequent, so I decided on animals as they can be fun as well.

So the theme will be any type of animal or using any type of media with no restrictions on colours, embellishments etc.

I would ask if we can keep it to TWO ATCs per person and please enclose an SAE to be with me by Friday 31st July changed to 10th August. I have only made it three weeks as I have found in the past that if the end by date is too far away it can get forgotten. However if you feel this is too soon, please let me know and I can arrange another date.

I don't usually sign up until I've actually made them as things tend to some up, especially at the moment, as my kids break up from school today. I do want to join in and I will try Anne but I can't promise anything. Don't give up though, mum will join in but she's on holiday at the moment so she won't have seen it yet. And I'm sure there are others that will join in too.

The trouble is because we're not going away till at least September and we don't have kids I tend to forget that others will go away at this time of year and that school holidays are starting (well at least the roads will be quieter going to work in the morning!).

I think what I'll do is extend the date till mid August to give more time - will amend the first post.

Lyn - it can be any type of animal, real (well preferabley pic of not a real animal stuck to an ATC!) or cartoony or any type of image - stamped, sticker, computer printed. And any type of animal from elephants to butterflies.
